Preparing for a Distance Healing Session
Before your session:
Please remember that a distance healing is as efficient as an in person healing.
Take at least 30 minutes prior to the session to relax and reflect. Take slow, long breaths, checking in with how your body is feeling and anything you are noticing with regards to emotions, thoughts or physical sensations.
You may also want to reflect on any intentions you want to set for your session. The state yielding best results is an open, relaxed state, without any prejudices.

You'll also want to make sure you've eaten and are hydrated prior to the session, in order not to get distracted by hunger or thirst. Avoid a heavy meal, coffee or alcohol.

After your session:
As many of the the benefits of a Healing session can occur as soon as immediately after the session, it is important stay in the quiet, relaxing place in order to process and integrate what may arise.
Take at least 20 minutes to lie down, meditate, have a nap or go for a light walk in nature. Try not to schedule anything for immediately after your session.
It is essential to hydrate well after any type of energy work, so make sure you drink plenty of fresh water. You may be feeling hungry after the session, so choose a healthy snack or meal afterwards if needed. Listen to every signal your body gives you.
Reflecting upon and trying to connect to what you have experienced during the session helps in integrating the healing energy. You might want to meditate, listen to soothing music, or you suddenly feel a surge of creativity. Whatever the case, it is often helpful to express it by drawing, painting or writing a journal.
Try to connect to the tranquil state you were in during the session as often as you feel like. And get in touch with your practitioner if you experience physical or emotional discomfort after the session.
